Hope in the Middle of Suffering

"If you lose heart at the time of distress, kecillah strength"
Proverbs 24:10

When we believe in Jesus and confess Him as Lord and Savior of his life, this does not mean that we will not encounter any problems. That does not mean also that we are free from the problem and we'll instantly blessed with abundance both in the family, job, business, business, education, environment and others.

Just when we decide to follow Jesus, the devil will try to pull us back to fall into sin, because he does not like the decisions we take. Various issues will still come hit our lives endlessly as long as we are still breathing.
Often we also give up on problems that are befalling us. We hope that God's immediate help and provide solutions to the problems we face. In fact, God's answer does not come too, so we become discouraged. We do not know that God was testing and processing of our lives so that we can truly trust and surrender to God with all our hearts.

Sense of discouragement is often followed by feelings of disappointment with the conditions of our lives, and even some are disappointed to God, to not go to church anymore. This condition will make us weaker and did not have the strength to be able to move forward to face the problem.

"Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary affliction is for us an eternal glory that more than anything else, is much greater than our suffering" 2 Corinthians 4:16-17.

The Apostle Paul in his suffering he experienced so much, also keep her in order not to lose heart. Though outwardly he was getting weaker, but stronger spiritual man in the Lord. He knew that what God has for him is far greater than what he experienced. This is the power that enables Paul to remain faithful to the Lord until the end of his escort.
