Changing Habits

"Did not we say this to you in Egypt: Do not disturb you, and let us serve the Egyptians. For it is better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness" - Exodus 14:12
Have you noticed a hawk? When you place an eagle in a cage measuring 1.8x2.4m2 and the top open at all, although capable of flying, this bird will remain as a bird in a cage. Cause, requires the runway before the eagle can fly into space. Without it he would not even the slightest attempt to fly.

An eagle can fly through the air, but it would be so weak because of a small cage that not even the top lid. Old habits are so strongly entrenched in the eagle which makes it always looked down and never looked up to fly. So, when he was imprisoned, he was desperate, resigned, and believing that he would not be freed even if there is a way out to the top. Similarly, the life of the nation of Israel. They used to live in slavery, so that when God would deliver them, provide a way out and the best quality of life, they just often grouchy. They do not forget to give thanks and a defense that God has done for His people through the ten plagues inflicted upon the Egyptians. Old habits need to be removed from our lives. Is when we have problems like grouchy and become desperate? When all roads have been closed and locked us in the matter, whom we rely. What we need is to raise your head up and cried out to God, then we will see a way out. As God help the people of Israel, the same God will be able to help us. God is able to "split the sea" to our problems and make us pass safely.
